Ksamah team conducted and participated in the tree plantation drives of the "Save Aarey Movement"- the battle to save Mumbais last green lungs over the last 5 years.

In any project that aspires to increase the green cover of a place, planting a sapling is the easiest part.The real challenge is the maintenance of the newly planted saplings and ensuring that they become into robust trees.Forest growing on themselves is a myth.The role of this indigenous community  is maintaining the natural Aarey Forest and also protecting them.

This barren land at Aarey got converted into a pseudo-green land and

increased the carbon capture near human settlement.
